the Trumpers and Roners are viciously fighting over who has the biggest garden hose. Face it, no politician is going to save this country. We are headed toward the clift at 150 mph. The best they might do is slow it down by a few mph. Every facet of the government is corrupt and rigged for the deep state. The Right doesn't have the leadership to make meaningful change. You boys keep fighting over which guy has a pebble that will dam the raging river.

To be fair, 50-60% of the party isn’t fighting with Ron’s 18% of never trump support.

Ronners are just pissed nobody is drawn to their champion the way they are Trump.

This is omething that's been acknowledged here as long as I've been posting. Slowing it down is worthwhile IMO.

To the degree this is true, it's because of rank/file Republicans and (rational) Independents - fat, happy and soft AF.

Sure, but the tiresome bickering over candidate 1A and 1B is just entertainment for the left. Support your candidate and then support the eventual nominee. It serves no purpose to get in a pecker measuring contest.

I would absolutely support a separate primary forum at this point.

Kinda agree. It's going to take an America First patriot with a real set of baby makers to step forward and begin the process of dismantling the DC Uniparty and the Bureaucratic State....the problem is the constitutional republic is running out of time.

I’ve read my Tacitus. According to his account, it ended with Christians being burned at the stake:

….Nero fastened the guilt and inflicted the most exquisite tortures on a class hated for their abominations, called Christians by the populace. Christus, from whom the name had its origin, suffered the extreme penalty during the reign of Tiberius at the hands of one of our procurators, Pontius Pilatus, and a most mischievous superstition, thus checked for the moment, again broke out not only in Judaea, the first source of the evil, but even in Rome.

Mockery of every sort was added to their deaths. Covered with the skins of beasts, they were torn by dogs and perished, or were nailed to crosses, or were doomed to the flames and burnt, to serve as a nightly illumination, when daylight had expired. Nero offered his gardens for the spectacle, and was exhibiting a show in the circus, while he mingled with the people in the dress of a charioteer. Hence, even for criminals who deserved extreme and exemplary punishment, there arose a feeling of compassion; for it was not, as it seemed, for the public good, but to glut one man’s cruelty, that they were being destroyed…. Tacitus, Annals: Book XV, Chapter 44.

I think it's more that Ron supporters see the "Entertain us Trump!" crowd as a not-insignificant part of our societal decline into complete vapidness.
