re: Where were you?
Bolton dining hall after STATs exam on way back to dorm when first one hit. Lobby of Russell Hall all day in lobby watching with the rest of the dorm. Football practice at 1:00, called it after a short practice. Was my first game to dress at UGA and was canceled that Saturday. Sad friggin day.

That was strange, and for several days after, not a plane in the sky.

re: Where were you?
Was driving to my high school from a physical therapy appointment early in the morning from a football injury. I heard something about it on the radio but changed the channel because being a 17 y/o I just wanted to listen to music. I got to school to check in and everyone was stunned and had to ask what happened because the radio said a plane hit the World Trade Center and I was thinking like a Cessna or something. We spent the rest of the day watching the news and not a whole lot of school work. We were one of the only high school games to play that Friday in the State of Georgia so most of my extended family got to watch us play against George Walton Academy. It was a surreal time because I was turning 18 in October and didn't know if there was going to be a draft instituted so there was some nervousness on my part for a few months. I would have gladly accepted my call to duty if it came to that, but I knew that the military was not the best for me at that time.

re: Where were you?
8 hour OSHA training in BR. No phones allowed in class. When we went on break around 9:30AM or so I went out to my truck to check my phone and my wife had texted and called several times to tell me what was going on.

We went back in and had to finish the day of training not knowing WTF was going on.

re: Where were you?
In Houston, at my desk.
Interestingly, I was talking to my broker here in town.

He saw the 1st plane hit the tower, told me, and hung up.

I was about to leave for an Econ class at LSU. Obviously professor canceled class, went back and watched 8 straight hours of coverage.

re: Where were you?
Work. Just went back to my office from meeting and was alerted to the commotion in the break room. Our floor had @ 100 people and everyone was in there silent as they narrated the events unfolding before our eyes. I had a lot of client firms in NYC and made a lot of calls of concern to family and friends in NY. My wife was home with 8 month old and 3 year old calling me.

Outside, everyone's eyes were to the sky as flights were denied landing at Louisville International airport. Literally dozens of planes over the course of a few hours circled around in the sky.

Very traumatic day. I remember going home and just sitting and watching all of the coverage over and over.

God rest the poor souls lost that day as victims and hero's.

re: Where were you?
I was reading this board when someone posted, "an airplane has hit the towers". I walked into the living room, turned on the TV, expecting to see a small plane, with a malfunction, had accidentally hit the tower. I was surprised to see the tower smoking, and then they showed the second one circling, and watched it plow into the second tower.

re: Where were you?
Elk hunting near Saguache, Co.
Noticed there was no air traffic and then later that day found out why.
We decided to go home and be with family.
Terrible day.

Film footage was taken by a French (I think) crew working a documentary with FDNY a few blocks away. But released MANY weeks after Sept. 11.

There was footage of the first plane out very soon if not later that same day, it wasn't weeks.

And there was footage of muslims being interviewed and celebrating, if not that same day with in the next day or two.

I know Trump caught a lot of flak for saying that but I saw it. It's probably all been destroyed by the MSM who had it.

I ABSOLUTELY recall the dancing on a rooftop that has been denied. I remember it with no errors. On that day, I was so emotionally drained, so sad, so angry. And the dancing/celebrating Muslims had me seething. I smoked then, and went outside and had a cig after seeing it.

re: Where were you?
I was living in Sydney at the time, so it all began after 10:00 pm. I had just gone to bed and was half asleep. The wife just happened to have Fox News on (it was the only American news we got there) when they broke in about the first plane. She woke me up and told me what happened. I thought she was talking about a piper club or something and went back to bed. I was again half asleep when I heard my brother-in-law yell out a stream of obscenities that woke me up. That's when the second plane had hit. I was wide awake at this point and watched it unfold live. I called my mother in Louisiana; she had no idea and I told her to turn on the tv. She put it on Fox as well, so we were able to watch the same thing together; I stayed on the phone with her for a couple of hours. I stayed awake until about 3 am; I went to sleep just after Bush make his remarks at Barksdale AFB. Got up at 5:30 to go to work. Everyone on the train had their heads stuck in the Daily Telegraph or Sydney Morning Herald. A lot of Aussies had no idea what had happened until they woke up because they had gone to sleep beforehand. My office block was in Bankstown, which was probably 75% Muslim. The place was like a ghost town for a week - they claimed they were scared to come out of their homes because of reprisals. Nicest walks ever from the train station to the office while they were holed up. Had the tv on at work for a couple of days. Spent most of the time watching that and didn't get much done for a couple of days. Co-workers acted kind of weird around me for a couple of days, being the only American around. Like they didn't know if they should talk about it or not. Weird times.

Google: Five Dancing Israelies on 9/11

They weren’t Muslim. They were Israeli Mossad. They were arrested and released, despite evidence they were also going to blow a tunnel. They had cameras set up and filmed the 9/11 attacks. How did they know about it in advance?
