IIRC, the first one was the CA border, but I have not found where this one plans to make its stand. I have only looked for about 1-2 minutes, admittedly.

If CA again, I don't get it. Wouldn't it be more effective to "target" a red state like Texas and implicitly make the point that it is the racists on the other side of the border that are the problem?

They can get in easier at California and from there they can pretty much go where they want.

Caravan leaders have not defined the precise route or decided where on the U.S. border they want to arrive. However, some 200 participants in a much smaller caravan last spring that was organized by Contreras' organization made it to Tijuana, which is about 2,500 miles from Tapachula. Still, that crowd of 1,200 people shrank significantly by the time it reached the U.S. border, with many migrants deciding to stay in Mexico and others splitting away to try crossing on their own.

In recent years, most Central American migrants traveling on their own have opted for a more direct route that took them to Reynosa, across the border from McAllen, Texas, about 1,140 miles from Tapachula.

The caravan is likely to lose its cohesiveness as it gets deeper into Mexico as groups traveling at different rates split off and many decide to take their chances on asylum in Mexico.

Not sure the Mexican government would allow it. The chaos level would be so high that the Mexicans would quash it long before. My money is on Mexicali or McAllen

Well, OK, but I don't think getting them in is the real goal of whoever is funding and planning this charade.

I’m guessing not at the front door of the many US consulates throughout Mexico to legitimately apply for asylum.

trump should publicly announce that there will be extra border agents at all border crossings except california because they wont allow it. then follow up with saying it will be preauthorized to do a complete closing of the border if need be.

let them know right now that 100% of these democrat organisation invasion army needs to cross over into california and stay there, they can have them, and california can pay for them

Yes. Good point. If they're willing to come to a racist country like the USA, imagine how bad the racism must be back in their home countries, which are full of people of their same ethnic group.

Makes sense.

They would be travelling through vast areas of private property, right? What are those land owners' rights as it relates to this?

Which state is the weakest and full of moronic people who base their actions solely on emotion while simultaneously not thinking about the repercussions of those actions ??

If yo are talking about mexico, I have not the slightest on Mexican rights.

At McAllen you still have to cross the Rio Grande.....If I were Trump, I would shut down the ports (that is what they are called) and clutter up the bridge with multiple obstacles......then I would set a line 5 miles either side along the river and patrols running in parallel for another 25.

Mexicali is a little harder.....It's wide open country right there. From a property owner rights point of view, If the caravan members are not armed, California law prohibits the use of deadly force unless threatened with a weapon, etc. ....My guess is that if that is the point, they will try to use well established roads.

Brownsville looks like it is half the distance from Guatemala than going all the way to Tijuana?

My guess is somewhere along the U.S./Mexican border between the Pacific Ocean and the Gulf of Mexico.

Well, with the level of hyperbolic contempt and virtue-signaling the left and media have for anything that could, in any wild-hair up your arse interpretation, be construed as racist or would evoke imagery of being overrun by non-whiteys, my guess is they would avoid a place named "Brownsville".

If I were going for the optics, that is where I would go. They are not going to try and sneak across, they want to make a photo op......they want to overwhelm a spot or two on the border

I'm thinking the area from Laredo to Brownsville. It makes sense because of distance, but also the multitude of border crossings. You have Brownsville, Hidalgo/Reynosa, Roma and Laredo all in rather close proximity. When they get closer, they will split into 4-5 columns. They aim to create chaos at those checkpoints

they can walk across the border in Arizona or California, or try to swim across the Rio Grande. I'm thinking they head west, also Cali and Arizona would more accepting states.
