How did a decent chunk reagan/dole/bush voters raise their kids to be like this? Not saying you should brainwash your kids, but you should at least instill values that deter public destruction and violation of property rights.

By watching any mainstream news source.

Is it really that difficult to fathom?

They grew up in well off families surrounded by other white people and feel like capitalism is evil because their Dad was never home.

They feel guilty because their parents worked hard and gave them things other people didn't have.

Now they've grown up and want to burn it all down because they've never worked hard for anything in their lives.

And delayed development. 18 years old 40 years ago used to be considered capable of getting married, having children, and supporting a family. It wasnt unusual at all and even if there was college they attended while married.

Now we consider 18 to be children and when you add in college, and even grad school, people dont truly hit the real world stride until theyre almost 30. People dont value children, marriage, or building things. They value having every step taken care of so they dont have to risk anything.

Then you consider coastal areas where its hard to really finance a life of independence, even if you make something like $100k a year.

What is going on is adults with the minds of children throwing child-like temper tantrums with child-tier ideology.

Correct. They dont understand what it means to be in pain and struggle for something good. They dont appreciate what it takes to enjoy even the simplest pleasures of a developed world life.

Typically suburban white kids that fit into two groups:

1: Throw away kids that are useless to society for productivity

2: Grew up in well off famlies that hate the country - brainwashed dummies that end up destorying their lives and being thrown out by their famlies for what they became. I know this is true since I know two famlies that have kicked a kid out of their lives. One of them grew up in the same town that I did. Dad was a doctor and mother was a school teacher. Had a good life. Then he moved to the Twin Cities after college and works at a gas station. Parents want nothing to do with him.

last reagan voter was 18 in 1984 and the vast majority were older - born 1966 and before = at least 54 = 90% of their kids are older than this

Many are wanting to act out video game fantasies like in Grand Theft Auto and feel like raging against the capitalist system that enabled the very lifestyle they’re attempting to destroy.

Schools. From kindergarten to 12th grade, a lot of kids spend most of their weekdays away from their parents, being brainwashed by teachers.

Unless you've the ability to put your kids in a private school or home school, the gov will force you to put your kids in their indoctrination centers known as public schools.

Then when those kids grow up and enter college, the brainwashing is kicked up a notch.

From public schools to college.. it wouldn't surprise me if about 60% of the kids end up turning into authoritarian liberals.

I have two kids both are fine young adults who really never gave us any trouble.
My daughter is very liberal and my son is very conservative.
We taught them both all the right values they just developed very different perspectives based on their own experiences and beliefs.
