Is it Safe to say that Trump didn’t like the coach so he had the coach fired? Is this the mindset we are going to use about everything going forward?

I don't think Gator fans would boycott the University if Trump fired Napier.

Buddy, Trump’s FCC demanded something be done about Kimmel. It sounds like he’d have been fired eventually anyway, but Trump precipitated it. He shouldn’t have.

1. It seems like bad political strategy, although I’m not going to argue too much with Donald J Trump about that.

2. It is another step in the direction of government control of political speech, which is the most dangerous bridge to cross.

I have no idea how big a factor this was, but it certainly gave ammo to the left.

ANOTHER moronic take from Nimrod.

I wouldn't mind Trump signing an EO to fire Pittman.

You realize that Trump didn't demand Kimmel be fired. Nor did the FCC chair.

Sinclair gave Kimmel a chance to come back under these demands.

quote:

The first is for there to be "formal discussions" held with ABC "regarding the network's commitment to professionalism and accountability."

It also asked for Kimmel to "issue a direct apology to the Kirk family" and for him to make a "meaningful personal donation to the Kirk Family and Turning Point USA," Kirk's nonprofit that advocates for conservative politics on high school, college and university campuses.

In addition, they are airing a tribute to Charlie Kirk tonight in Kimmel's old time slot. Does that sound like Trump or does that sound like standards from an owner. And it sounds like the owner is pretty pissed about a guy losing the company $20 million/year causing more harm to that company.

Your takes are pretty awful.

If anything, Kimmel's firing opens wide the door to the auditorium filled with his supporters for all of us to see. I love this kind of exposure, especially while our iron is hot relative to what they did to a beautiful young man's family when they assassinated him.

The supporters of Charlie Kirk must not give an inch to these ba$trd$ until they are done. They do not benefit America in any manner whatsoever.

Trump and the FCC had nothing to do with Kimmel’s firing. Absolutely nothing to do with it. Even Disney has came out and said this.

TDS Panican: “Well that’s what Trump told them to say. Losing $20+ million/year had nothing to do with his firing and the fact that 60% of the country stopped going to Disney World because of this dude had nothing to do with it”

FCC just made a statement that they may need to look into this. Disney said they were not reacting to FCC inquiries. Disney surely jumped in and said yank that money loser

Two of the largest affiliates are who demanded ABC do something about Kimmel, and the FCC has an obligation to protect the rights of Affiliates and the public airways.

The Affiliates still have demands of Kimmel before they would even air his show on their stations. Hope that helps you out a little.
