For the last 20 months we have been living through a reconstruction era . The winner has demanded certain groups to obey their rules, have shut down or seek ways to destroy certain businesses. They’ve demanded when and how students attend school, who & when to permit health care services and look to how we we spend our money ( proposal of tracking accounts ) . It is going on around the G 20 countries in some fashion now .

Well, 20 months ago. Seriously, when the Right took the knee over Covid and allowed themselves to be locked out of their businesses, schools and churches, the Left realized the Right was full of raging pussies. So now they don't even have to pretend to be moderate. No worries about being hypocritical, cynical, or inept in historic ways. They say things like "border crossers don't need to be vaccinated because they're not staying," and know the Right will let it stand uncontested.

The Left does not fear the Right. The Left has no respect for the Right as a competitor/enemy.

But somehow we lost or surrendered prior to that . In January and February it was like just use proper precautions and then they play the take one for the team card with the two weeks to flatten the curve. Yes we were buffaloed but again when we’re we conditioned before that . Americans have always rebuffed or ignored government bs , this use to be a the norm and what separated us from the world

I don't disagree with that. For a few decades the Right has persistently surrendered territory on essentially every front - education, culture, business, military, etc. But I think not pushing back on the Covid BS was a watershed event. Before then the Left feared our "guns and bibles" - they used to talk about that, remember? But the Covid mandates/lockdowns exposed the Right for what it really is - soft as frick.

Two weeks to flatten the curve was retarded. It wasn't a serious effort. It was political bullshite from the very beginning, and you didn't need to be a genius to realize that. If the Right had any backbone it would have not given that inch - and if we hadn't, I think this country would be very different today.

I used to think this was one of five greatest things a President has done. Now I know it’s in the five worst things a President has done. We successfully liberalized the Chinese people and dragged them out of abject poverty as Nixon intended, but the government has only gotten more competent since then. The Chinese are smart mother frickers, and we now only have greedy idiots running our government who can’t see more than four years down the line. They played us like a fiddle.

As far as the citizens go, it's a regional thing. In more liberal or purple areas, the libs scream louder and the conservatives tend to be a little more sheepish.

You don't see the libs unleashing their anqueefa and BLM attack dogs on Oklahoma though. You don't see any schools outside of the most liberal pockets of Oklahoma forcing the kids to wear face diapers. You see signs on a few businesses saying "mask required to enter" and when you walk in, nobody has a mask- not even the employees.

Where conservatives are the majority, they're strongest. Where liberals are the majority, they're strongest. In the more evenly split areas, conservatives tend to just lay down without a fight at all.

That's what needs to change.

In these "purplish" areas, conservatives need to fight to the death, with a ferocity that would make the viking gods smile.

Thinking it was lost when the public didn't revolt against income tax.

The standard use of the word, war, leads to misunderstanding and lack of preparation.

This is a war of ideas. But it’s every bit as dangerous and vital as a hot war.

The problem is that for a long time now, only one side has been seeing it as a war. They have been pushing and pushing, taking ground wherever they can. They have treated the opposing side with open contempt, while the other side is worried about being nice.

Since it happened slowly over time, it’s hard to say exactly when.

It was in 2008 when the media went fully offensive. I truly believe that Ron Paul was gaining enough momentum in the primaries to potentially win the bid. If you go back and look at what the media (Fox in particular) did to sabotage his campaign, you will be disgusted. This is how they obtained the confidence to do what you are seeing now.

Fabian Socialism was started on this country in the 1890s.
Its been a gradual but constant growing force ever since, now it's taken control.
