Probably this... i mean they have to hurry before to many people file Taxes; going off the 2019 returns, there will be a lot less people to pay; than if they have to update to 2020's incomes

Most people who file taxes closer to April aren't qualifying for a stimulus anyway.

I'm beginning to wonder if Manchin will actually vote against this bill as a reconciliation bill...I figured he could be bought off, but his rhetoric is pretty strong against spending this money now (very strange for even a centrist Democrat).
I'm sure he'll fall in line with Schumer after the cash flows, but it would be epic if he torpedoed the reconciliation bill.

They’re gonna water down the next round of stimulus into nothing while claiming its just too costly... while at the same time continuing to approve billions in gifts and pet projects around the world.
