Unions are a stain on our country. They bypass supply and demand means for setting wages and price of goods.

Private sector unions I'm OK with.

Public sector unions should be abolished.

Have become friends with my mail deliverer, a 50'ish black lady, 23 years working for the P.O. She says that their union runs the P.O. & is so strong that facility managers, the top official, have no say so in the day to day operations. Union heads push injured employees to stay off work & receive workers compensation as long as possible. She was injured but returned to work within a few weeks & she is still in trouble with the union. The DNC is buried so deep in all the major unions that they will never become political free.

Depends. Would you rather have one boss, or two? Because unions have bosses that get paid union fees etc.

People act like you have stockholm syndrome to be anti-union, but I've been in small business my whole life. I like to put my eggs in the owner's basket, and let the chips fall where they may. If the company doesn't do things I like or if I feel I'm likely to get paid more elsewhere, I'll just go elsewhere.

Union leaders don't have the feintest idea of what it's like to own a business most of the time.

I think that in most cases these days, they're unnecessary.

Is this opinion based on data of wages and employment conditions?

Or your feelings?

They’re scummy and will go whichever way the political winds blow when it suits them, kind of like liberals, and politicians so I have a low opinion of them.

OSHA fixed the biggest parts of what they were meant to help fix, they’re just middle-men (aka leeches) at this point.
