In light of trump ordering his son in law be given top security clearance despite not being able to clear cia and fbi back ground checks how big of a shite storm would trumpflakes be displaying if Hillary did the same thing with Chelsey Clinton.

Uh, she would have to president first, correct? Well, we have a problem here.

I know you don’t understand what a hypothetical question is so I won’t even attempt to argue with you

If Bill Clinton gave Chelsea’s husband a security clearance against the recommendation of the intelligence community?
They would crucify him

So this is one of those "if your aunt had a dick" type threads. Enlightening.

They would put up a fight, as expected. I'm not going to try and say repubs aren't above political bias as well.
But as we've seen over the Clibton's time in office, they are corrupt as hell.

Yep they would be able to fill the water at the Washington monument with the tears of republicans

If Bill Clinton legally adopted Web Hubbell's child and then Hillary Clinton became the Democratic choice for President without rigging the primary and then she won the election without the vote of illegals or Russian campaign money ...then asking for top security clearance for her daughter would be considered .

The intelligence community didn’t want to give a Kushner a security clearance. I would love to know why?

The antiTrump one? Pretty much answers your question doesn't it?

Well, the Washington Monument is overflowing right now. Jared shouldn’t be handling all of this stuff. Even though I think he does a good job. It has to be hard for Trump to trust the intel community.

I think it’s wrong on both sides.

What was the red flags preventing Kushner from getting one?

I think people have a misunderstanding about security clearances.
A top security clearance only means you've been vetted that you aren't a security risk to the United States. Mostly are you trustworthy, do you have financial troubles that can allow you to be leveraged for example.
The clearance doesn't grant you any access to any intel. That is still based on a "need to know". Meaning your job requires you to view the Top Secret information. It ain't "24" and you get access to the top secret intel database or some shite. If his role in the administration warranted access to top secret information, the owner of said information would have to agree.
If he wasn't granted top secret clearance, the agency was probably being petty bitches.
Regardless, this is really a non issue for the reason stated.
Disclaimer: my security clearance lapsed a decade ago, I assume policies are still similar.

Exactly, there is a reason for nepotism laws.

You wouldn't need a security clearance with Hillary as president. Just pay a high schooler a few bucks to hack into the server in her bathroom.

What’s kushner done to show you he’s done a good job?

Brokered Saudi Deal, New NAFTA, Criminal Justice Reform

Silly hog,
Chelsey is too ugly to get that type of clearance and everyone knows this....

Ordinarily, I would consider a President overriding the input from the Intelligence Community to give a family member a TS clearance a big issue.
It would be an even bigger Issue for a hypothetical President Clinton, given her history of disregard for national security.
But given the demonstrated institutional resistance from the IC against this particular President, I am much more understanding.
In short, I trust Trump more than I trust the current FBI or the CIA on the subject of Trump.
