For at least the last 15 years, I have prioritized college football over my other hobbies during the fall.

Now that I’ve prepared to walk away from college football, I’m looking forward to more Saturdays bowhunting and chasing crappies.

Will probably take the kids camping a few times also.

It already feels liberating.

Not if you want to support bratty activist players who hate you.

My dad and I will spend some glorious weekend afternoons kayaking down the beautiful flowing rivers of the North Georgia Mountains.

We started doing this last year. Precious sacred moments.

The other day will be devoted to my fiancée.

I don’t really miss sports that much since things were put on hold, tbh. I’ll have more time to do stuff with the family that matters instead of veging out in front of the TV for 30 hours every weekend.

I will still enjoy watching college football if they play it
I won’t let them and their activism change what I enjoy.
Boycotting them won’t change a thing

I plan on watching LSU play this year.

I've never spent 30 hours a weekend watching football. I stopped watching the NFL years ago. To be honest, I will probably never watch any pro sports ever again except the occasional NASCAR race.

Already making plans to do some camping/hiking exploring the outdoors. Started playing tennis with a small group of friends on weeknights and golfing every other weekend.

Kind of silly looking back at it why I spent so many years dedicating 20+ hours a week looking at a TV screen on Fall weekends.

I won’t let this bother me, and will continue using them and the sport as a great form of entertainment
