But to be honest, we should not engage in blaming this girl or attacking her.
If we attack her we are no better than she is.
The over arching point is that one single unproven unreported allegation of sexual activity as a minor teenager 30 years ago with all parties drunk at a party denied by both the accused and a witness should not disqualify a person from office with no existence of a pattern and plenty of character witnesses on his side.

I grew up in rural Texas. At age 15, I could have attended a drinking pary with dozens of other people (all high school ages, male and female) every weekend, had I wished to do so.
I only did so two or three times per semester (more in Summer), but only because I was going instead to dance halls and drinking there.
