What is the process for exiting NATO?

NATO is no longer relevant. It is currently a drain on US national security.

We should make individual mutual defense treaties with the few countries that actually sort of kinda have our backs. UK, Canada, Aussies.

this is a much better solution. enact hardline spending requirements for all members or they get left out of NATO

a sea that is what? 20 miles from the coast of france through the straight of dover?

also, lets just say that we are committed to backing the UK and absolutely no one else, what do we do when the UK 100% goes to the aid of france in the event of russia acting up? do we just tell them to frick off then?

or maybe we can promote people to start defending themselves while also being willing to understand that we have a common enemy
