I want to understand...
My son told me his teacher suggested it means man (pollutants) is creating inconstancy in our weather.
Is our weather inconsistent?

Take a dollar...in pennies. Push 75 aside, that is nitrogen. Take 24 aside, that is oxygen. Take the last penny and cut it into 100 pieces. Take 93 pieces aside. That is argon. Cabon dioxide was about 2.5 pieces before the industrial revolution and is now up to 4.3 pieces.

However in a more meaningful answer. It's a term big business uses to inflame and entice us into avoiding the bigger issue of air and water pollution controls. There is no doubt as to man's role in both of these however they get conveniently grouped together with climate control by stop global warming interests (lobbyist and internet trolls) who would rather avoid both of the two issues. Climate change is their convenient mantra to avoid even discussing their near indefensible roles in the more pressing issues of pollution control.

the claim that i have seen is that anthropogenic co2 is causing weather to be more severe. winter storms are colder and more intense. summers along the equator are hotter. el nino/el nina and hurricanes cause more damage.
so, they moved from the atmosphere getting colder (disproven) to the atmosphere getting hotter (disproven) to a claim that's almost impossible to falsify. it's brilliant actually. every time there is a strong storm - SEE! WE'RE KILLING THE EARTH.
