What if what the FBI were after wasn’t about Trump

But about protecting the Epstein list?
I’m sitting here this morning thinking about what would cause the DS to take this huge of a risk and “getting” Trump doesn’t make sense. They were doing a good enough job with their make believe J6 hearings.
Hell, look at the DeSantis versus Trump shite on this board alone. All of that noise is born out of the J6 BS. So I don’t think that’s it.
On the other hand, what if, just what if, Trump had some of the Epstein files pointing to who in DC and other power spots were dirty. Like real evidence. I think a panic over that would make the power players who also diddle children and worse panic and make this type of move.
Remember, Trump fought harder, and freed more children from the sec trade than any other president. It is clearly something he cares about.
Just food for thought.

If so, doing this means that it is probably more important to expose the list than to keep it hidden.
Lots of rich and powerful people would need to hire crisis response teams to handle the fallout.

Quite possible, especially considering the role in the first Epstein investigation of the judge who signed off on this.
IF this is the case and Trump has backups (which I would have done long ago and hid them in various other locations), he should release it all now (actually, I would have release them already).

Keep him under a cloud of suspicion just like they have always done. If this dies down before the next presidential election they’ll open up another investigation. Trump is too smart not to stay clean and they know this. But the media can speculate all they want while this is going on and that’s what they want.

If Trump had that info, why would he sit on it? After all the mud they've been slinging his way, he's not the type to let that go unanswered.

Thats the thing. If Trump had info about Epstein, why wouldn't he just give copies to the FBI, or even publicly release them?
The FBI shouldn't need a search warrant to get that type of information from Trump.

Biden absolutely wants Garland to play high stakes hardball with Trump whom he believes is a threat to Democracy.
The Democrats have been on the offensive for 6 years and Biden and BHO have been directing it. Obama has risen from padawan to master in all of this. But Biden is no slouch and to dismiss him because of the contrived doddering old fool routine is just that....a routine.

It is very likely there are high level FBI people on that list and they would have killed any investigation.
He may have been trying to have people quietly investigate and confirm the facts before releasing anything. That would have taken a lot of time to do so quietly.
I am not saying it is what happened, but with the judge who signed off on a never before done action being an Epstein client, one has to wonder if it is about more than Trump.

He should call a press conference, say this is what they were after and post it everywhere on his network for everyone to see then.

IMO this is definitely one of those instances of an investigation in search of a crime. I don’t believe Trump is much concerned about it given his enthusiastic-as-ever attitude immediately preceding this, and I join him in that status.
