What happened with the Awan Brothers saga?

IIRC, Debbie Wasserman Schultz, a Dem from Florida (still in Congress by the way), brought the Awan brothers to Congress, as staff members. She and others insured they got security clearances. Then they got busted with stuff they weren't supposed to have, and Schultz and others (I think Pelosi was in on this) obstructed the investigation. The brothers fled to Pakistan I think, and the whole deal was very shady.
Did that saga ever get resolved?

They were doing computer "maintenance" on a couple of dozen dem house reps and migrating data to a central computer, which disappeared when the capitol police tried to take it.
Some house he was renting and had vacated, the new residents contacted the fbi when they found the garage had a bunch of computer hardware in it and whoosh it disappeared.

if i recall, the prosecutor in the case was debbie wasserman schultz's brother. at the end that radical judge apologized to the brothers for being prosecuted. the bros had a car dealership called Cars International A llc. CIA.
