What does a war with Iran look like?

Would we put boots on the ground?
Strictly precision air strikes?
Does Iran retaliate against Israel? If so does Israel wipe them off the map?
I believe it'll be real ugly.

Not sure what it will look like, but I know what the aftermath will based on our last two major engagements in Iraq and Afghanistan. Yikes do not want.

Ask old people from Iraq. Those two countries have been fighting each other forever and since their ineptness was equal nobody ever won.
I knew one guy in college who fought for both sides. His name was Abdul Ojeil. He was drafted into the Iran army and was captured by the Iraqis. They didn't have much in the way of prison facilities so they offered him the chance to simply change sides. He agreed and fought for Iraq till hostilities ceased and he went home.

That depends on who Iran is fighting against? I highly doubt it will be the USA. However, in the event that they attack us (not some FF), the response would be utterly devastating to them. I just can't envision us going to war against them (or anyone else for that matter) under Trump. He has shown a propensity to back up what he says more often than not. As such, it is a pretty effective deterrent imho.

There won't be a war of any type.
