Im using a spanish program where you can learn spanish from regular people in spanish speaking countries. They do it by approaching people and asking a question in each lesson to several different people.

I found the answers to the aforementioned question enlightening. Almost every older person said...God. They also mentioned their family, their spouse, but also God.

Most of the younger people said they believed in....themselves, and rarely included God.

It’s interesting that people think their “selfhood” requires a “belief.” What would it possibly mean to “not believe in myself”?

Well, I believe in the soul, the cock, the pussy, the small of a woman’s back, the hanging curve ball, high fiber, good scotch, that the novels of Susan Sontag are self-indulgent, overrated crap.
