Did you have a past injury that decimated your short term memory? You are in several posts in this very thread.

And? Can you provide a comprehensive list of media that you find acceptable to be posted here?

Perhaps one that isn’t unapologetically two steps left of Stalin?

I posted an opinion article from the New Yorker. I didn't claim it was anything other than that.

Thus giving credence to a joke of an entity that is so absurd it’s almost satirical.

Noted. And what can we infer about a grown man who read a stranger post that another stranger had sex with a homeless person and attempts to make that rumor a topic of discussion on a political discussion board? Lets assume I'm actively engaged in a gang bang with 5 million homeless men right at this very moment. What does that have to do with anything? Why are you interested in who I've had sex with? And why do you want to discuss me having sex on a political discussion board?

Holy lack of self-awareness.

As if this thing doesn't cry about men, capitalism, consumerism and everything else that bothers it.

Provable fact...

You slept with a homeless dude then claimed you have 20 years of unwanted attention from men

Like your girl Sally, no one is ever able to provide any other context around this claim. What happened? When was it? Who was the homeless man? How did I ever get connected with him?

But whatever. Let's just assume I'm sleeping with 59 homeless dudes right now.

You've either never been around a decently attractive woman or you're denying that you're a heterosexual male. I really don't care which it is.

Can you quote the posts in this thread in which I am expressing sadness that people "being mean" or whatever?

People lashing out at me for having the audacity to read things they disapprove of or hold opinions they disagree with is to be expected at this point. If that upset me, I would have quit posting here years before you even registered.

I did thank all the people who donated, but I will thank you again. I appreciate it.

It really hurt my feelings when I came home from work and saw my apartment had been broken into. I still remember what was stolen: My MacBook, my Nintendo Wii, my bicycle, and the remnants of a case of Natty Light from the weekend before.

All these years later, I still have that bike! It's moved with me all over South Louisiana.

I do generally enjoy the company of women but I'm happily married to my white male husband of 10 years.

You are retarded and grossly, willfully ignorant to try this take. Decades of research prove you are absolutely wrong here but you of the uneducated class don't care...

That's very kind and generous of you.

I was so broke at the time, too. I was working two jobs and living in this shitty apartment on the north side of campus. The whole fundraiser was a very, very unexpected and heartwarming gesture. It really softened the blow.

Well. Since you said please...

I'll at least let this thread die its natural death. Thanks for the stroll down memory lane.

You're either his beard, he's the biggest cuck pussy ever or he's constantly on the verge of suicide. Probably all 3.

The Psychology Today article you linked did not make any statements or implications about teachers recommending ADHD medication for students.

quote:

During a school meeting, his teacher pointedly suggested that he would benefit from ADHD medication. She also indicated that he could not sit still during reading time and that unless he received medication, he would likely fail second grade—and fail in future grades as well. I pointed out that he sat still just fine during math, science and art—he was good in these subjects and was (and still is) a gifted artist, and that the ADHD “symptoms” may have been the result of reading lessons that were above his skill level. I note here that this son is now a college graduate and an air traffic controller in the Air Force: all without the “benefit” of ADHD medication. Ironically, his college major was political science and he is an avid reader. However, in second grade, his reading skills were slow to develop relative to many of his peers.

The author is clear that the initial push comes from teachers.

quote:

Parents should be aware that an ADHD diagnosis should NEVER be based on behavior in only one setting (e.g., a classroom) and that teachers should not be diagnosing ADHD.

Where does this diagnosis start?
Second article.
quote:

But it doesn’t take a genius to figure out that most kids first get noticed for ADHD in a classroom setting. So we wondered, are there policies about schooling that might be relevant?”

In many cases from the schools, specifically teachers, who are the ones who identify children.

Now are the foot soldiers doing the shooting to blame for following orders?

Thats always a question, but its clear that female teachers are noticing male students in the classroom.

quote:

they just needed speech therapy.

Yes, but for millions of boys for decades it was all about the drugs.

This is something that has affected boys far more then girls. Its a crisis of medication that is hopefully declining.

For my generation Ritalin was the drug of choice.
quote:

Ritalin is classified as a Schedule II substance due to its high risk of misuse and dependence. Long-term Ritalin misuse can increase an individual’s chances of developing a stimulant use disorder, the clinical term for a stimulant addiction.
Psychological and/or physiological dependence. Abrupt cessation or rapid dose reduction of Ritalin in someone who has become dependent from prolonged, high-dose use can lead to the manifestation of withdrawal symptoms, which can be extremely uncomfortable.

Withdrawal symptoms may include:1

A depressed mood.
Fatigue.
Vivid nightmares.
Insomnia (sleeping too little) or hypersomnia (sleeping too much).
An increased appetite.
Psychomotor retardation (slowed physical movements or thought processes) or agitation (heightened brain activity and physical activity).

I know a lot of guys who were raised on that.

But in general could you possibly admit that this is one example of a male dominated problem?

That specifically is exasperated by the lack of male teachers?
