What could Trump do, or what could have been done differently?

Don't tell me he's playing 69D underwater volcano chess. Today was a shite shot, but could he have prevented it by releasing docs, something?
It just seems like he's stuck in the game like the rest of Washington is.

Why would he want to do anything different?

The problem with this is that DC can corrupt them faster than you can elect them.

If I had been in Trump's shoes, I would have called Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, Pat Buchanan, and Laura Ingraham, heck maybe even Ann Coulter the day after I won. Brought them all in and said "look, you my advisory commitee. You get to help me pick the cabinet, and you have the power of veto or modification of any of the cabinet's recommendations." Sort of a shadow cabinet that I could use to navigate the pitfalls of DC.
But then, I would have gone on an offensive blitzkrieg. Every ten days or so announce a new policy initiative or executive order that hammered the democrats policy priorities. Make it happen so fast that they don't have time to mount a response before the next one hits.
