About to drop ATT over the gay fathers/babysitter commercial. The way these companies market themselves, you'd think 95% of the country was gay or in an interracial relationship.

Off the top of my head:

Gillette
Nike
dicks
Yeti

Not that I was really purchasing a lot of those products, but with Nike I have actually tossed a couple of items. I almost made it to the register with a shirt the other day when I realized it was a Nike product.

There are 12 companies listed so far here. I've never bought a product from any of them. Boycotts don't work for me because they always involve companies I never patronized in the first place.

And I'm not boycotting Starbucks because it's the best espresso I've ever tasted.

I'm not one to make a grand effort to avoid a product if there aren't great alternatives to it. I'm not a purist.

I think many are like me.

HOWEVER, for a company that chooses to be the corporate version of a dumb arse, you probably should think if your product is imminently replaceable with little effect on the consumer.

Hence.
Gillette
Ben and Jerry's
Target
Dick's
Nike
NFL

And a few others simply made my decision for me. Anything I'd buy from any of them, I can get an equal.........or hell, EXACT SAME product elsewhere for the same price.

And, I would tell some of the others that very little in this world is permanent. For example, Google won't ALWAYS be pretty much the only search game worth a shite.

Never shopped at Dicks or drank Starbucks.
So those weren’t an issue. I still watch the NFL because I get enjoyment from it. I’m not going to boycott something I receive benefit or enjoyment from. However, if I can buy Under Armour or Harry’s razors and I’m pleased with the quality, I’ll do it all day long to not support a company whose stances I don’t agree with.

Yeah.

I forgot about ESPN.

I literally watch NOTHING on there that isn't an actual game I'm interested in.

I don’t have cable so I don’t see TV ads.

I don’t listen to the radio so I don’t get radio ads.

I use an ad block in the internet so I don’t get internet ads.

I find it’s a lot easier to navigate through life not getting irrationally mad at advertising.

Ad free living is the way to go baws.
