Trump seems to think it’s possible. Is he reaching?

Ending oil statement by Biden may make it possible.

Who knows. May end up gaining the House and losing a seat or two in Senate.

If Trump wins like it looks like he could win and Biden collapses in the next 10 days, it's going to look a lot more possible than it did at the beginning of this month.

Trump having to drag the whole damn Republican party across the finish line... GEOTUS is a beast.

Zero.

The way the districts are drawn make it impossible right now.

It really depends on how pissed off our good citizens are over the lock-down damages, the riots, arson, looting, assaults and the general lawlessness the dems have brought.

The by-elections suggest a red wave. The enthusiasm suggests a red wave.

Disagree, but it is good not to get our hopes up.

You may be surprised at the coat-tails that Trump will bring.

I began this election cycle believing there was zero chance of the GOP retaking the House. Unfortunately I have not discerned any significant movement towards the GOP candidates that make me alter that prediction.

I think the GOP loses 10-15 seats. Last night doesn’t help congressional candidates. Money and incumbent advantage favor the Democrats. Paul Ryan guaranteed Democrat dominance for several cycles.

Doubtful. The GOP has several easy pickup opportunities. It will end up being close to net zero or the GOP will pick up a handful.

I don't understand why it's not downright likely that we take the house. All seats are up, right? And Trump won more counties than any GOP President in modern history in 2016, right?

So if we all think that he's going to win more comfortably this time than he did in 2016 aren't we logically selling short the chances of taking back the house?

In California alone I think we can take back like 10 seats.

Disagree. I think the House stays basically where it is. There may be a 2-4 seat swing either way though it likely favors Republicans.

Reason being that a lot of Dems will stay home and not bother voting this year. Republicans will be out in droves.
