Other than Florida overhauled it’s voting model and cleaned up the voter rolls to mitigate rampant fraud. TIA

I think the biggest one is Ron will likely be an establishment stooge on war and look to bomb people somewhere. Also, Trump at least threw a bone to the blue collar union guys. DeSantis may not resonate well with them if he is in the pocket of the Chamber of Commerce.

Desantis will be in the mold of the establishment.

Trump would be the deep state’s worst nightmare.

I’d vote for Desantis between the two because I don’t see any chance of Trump winning.

DeSantis not costing the GOP multiple house and senate seats in the last two election cycles seems like enough of a difference to me.

Trump is in this for himself, and while he did a lot of good things ultimately this was always about him. And now his well-being and that of the party are in conflict. Given that, whatever policy he espouses is almost irrelevant. He’s unelectable at this point.

The deep state had their way with Trump and ran him out of town, while he enabled them.

Why are people acting as though Ron is GOPe? What is this based on?

Trump is an unpolished ogre and fights needless fights.

DeSantis is more polished and knows when to pick a fight.

Trump is unelectable, and yet people will vote for him.

Because Sundance/Conservative Treehouse writes two articles per week about how the Paul Ryan faction is coalescing around him. I think Ron would stay true as a president on border issues, but who knows about trade and military intervention?

They’re literally making shite up because Desantis is a threat to their guy.

Trumps policies don’t matter. He doesn’t have the ability to execute policy. Running a government requires choosing good people and consistent effort to push a vision through. Trump has proven he can do neither.

Desantis will fire you up by fighting the woke and "owning the libs".

But when it comes to the real issues....trade, war and immigration he is establishment through and through.

The Martha's Vineyard stunt is a perfect representation.

The crowd that sold him on the idea and financed it want the border open but know they can get your vote with dumb stunts.

I think Desantis is great but I want him to be real MAGA and fight the Paul Ryan and Mitch McConnells of the world. And the Chinese and globalists.

He seems to be aligning with the wrong side.

So there is no difference is policy, it’s a posture rhetoric issue

The Dems of today are no different than the ones that killed Lincoln. Regardless of who is the GOP candidate, the left will play dirty. We need a solution that does not involve another election.

Like I said, it’s effectively irrelevant. But for discussion’s sake, their covid policies and all things related to that are/were very different.

Because it took him from just another rich and famous person to one of the most well known, powerful and influential people in human history.

It’s not an exaggeration to say that you can’t name 10 people who have ever lived who had a more profound global impact, especially on such a short time scale.
