So many policies have been enacted to help them get it together. Asians, most Hispanics, Irish, Italians, Jews, so on & so forth have all been brought here and have gotten their shite together without a million laws to assist them. It’s long time passed that black culture assimilates with the rest of society. They’re literally the only group having these troubles today.
Really? name one.

Imagine coming to this country on a boat 50 years ago not speaking English and owning only the clothes on your back.
Bet that group is failing miserably...

Minority contractor preference - whatever it’s called

Government policy or not - blacks are given preferential treatment in hiring practices.
I work for one such company and have done hundreds of interviews over the last 20 years having a front row seat for the agenda at play.

Horribly misquoting Bubb Rubb there. Sort of close but really way off.
My recollection is that my paraphrase is quite close to the actual statement by Mr. Rubb. I reject your claim.

1st step act. 9000 men and women released from prison in the 1st year and the majority are black.

Black people couldn't go to a hospital closest to them as recently as the 50s and 60s and informally the 70s in some parts of Louisiana. You think that changes should be done in less than a generation after centuries of torture and abuse?
Ok, and many Hispanics here moved without SPEAKING THE frickING LANGUAGE. What’s more detrimental to success, not being able to go to the closest community services or LITERALLY NOT BEING ABLE TO frickING COMMUNICATE WITH PEOPLE?
You idiots will find the victim hood in just about anything. Every minority group in this country has been oppressed. The Japanese were rounded up into internment camps in the mid-40s, yet Ivy League schools had to put limitations on Asian acceptance. It’s all about culture. Victim mentality breeds victimhood. By all means, keep making excuses.

If someone in your family were dying, how would you respond to being told you can't see the doctors here?
Do you have any grandparents?
Not trying to be contentious, but trying to understand the psychology in play. Why would something that happened in isolated pockets in LA almost 50 yrs ago still cripple people nationally today? How long will it continue to encumber?
The generation of blacks today do not face discrimination, etc.
IMO, appealing to things that happened 50, 100, 200 years ago has become an excuse, not a reason.
Trying to listen and learn but someone is going to have to muster more convincing arguments than this.

NOT BLM! Since they started the so-called peaceful protests, more blacks have died than Aunt Jemima pancakes served at a pancake eating contest.

Tax payers foot the bill to feed and house their adult men in prisons.

your comment regard blacks and hospitals is inaccurate.

So, tax money doesn’t pay for the white men in prison? you know, the white prison population that’s larger than any other race.

I think the South Vietnamese have done ok for themselves. Not as successful as the Japanese or Chinese, perhaps, but more so than blacks.

Blacks have accomplished some mind bogglingly impossible negative shite. Like, shite even your average KKK guy of 50 years ago couldn't have predicted.

My wife's nail salon is Vietnamese family. Husband and Wife, mom , etc. Very hard working, professional, diligent and friendly as you one could ask for. I know it is their business to be friendly but trust me, not all business people are like these folks.

As a group? Equal protection clause makes it illegal for the government to favor one race over another
But this is only applies in a court of law. The Federal govt favors one race over the other every day when it comes to 8A govt contracts. They're contracts strictly
based off race.

People act like the US never cared for black lives
There's been an enormous transfer of wealth to blacks in this country the last 60 years...from public housing to food stamps to federal govt hiring practices.
