I still believe the Rep have a plan to seat Kav to SC and they are working backwards so know how much slack they need to give the Dems to hang themselves. Grassley is not acting alone so again, I believe all the Rep side is in on the plan.

But my god, the theater they are giving the Dems on this thing. So now anyone can accuse anyone else and they take it as fact, especially if sexual assault to any degree is mentioned.

Would you give up the House potentially for a SC judge?

No, not anyone. Women can accuse men. They must be believed.

This is the world that democrats want, as long as the accused is Republican. The only reason the dems say anything about the biggest, well-known (adult) sexual predator in Hollywood and huge dem donor is because a lone reporter refused to be silenced by his dem-supporting bosses. If you want to see what happens to verifiable abusers that are Democrats when there isn't a single reporter that refuses to be silenced (and isn't murdered), look at Bill Clinton and Keith Ellison.

In case you're wondering, the biggest, well-known child predators in Hollywood are that fat frick from Nickelodeon and Brian Singer. How many people on this board still give Brian Singer their money?

While the Dem meltdown would be EPIC to behold, this is the culmination of Kav’s entire life work and to rip it away at the 11th hour because of this bullshite would be a major injustice.

Plus giving the Dems ANY kind of win here just gives them the gonads to do this with EVERY nominee they categorically oppose. That’s why Grassley was so insistent that her testimony be heard even though it’s an obvious political game - he took every bit of leverage and power the Dems had.

He knew they would stall and make crazy demands and keep forcing the issue on his deadlines, but he waited them out because he knew the “republican white males just wanted to silence the victim!!!” narrative was coming next. That’s why every single one of his statements and tweets on the matter say something like “I really wanted to hear what she had to say” or “I wanted to hear her out.” He knew what their plan was all along.

Now she gets to speak and make her whole claim appear shaky at best - fabricated at worst, Kav gets in, nobody has an angle to bitch and cry foul, and the Dems get a schooling via Grassley on why you don’t try to frick the system served with a bow on top.

RazorBroncs,

I agree. Some are lambasting Grassley but he is doing the right thing.

And it is a real shame what they have done to the Kavanaugh family. Hell NPR on Friday, on the news feed kept repeating he was "being investigated on an attempted rape charge" WTF.
And some libs in DC sit around the dinner table talking about it and their kids go to school with the Kavanaugh girls and start harassing them about their father. Who has done nothing more than to uphold the constitution his entire working life.

There are a lot of wifes and mothers out there watching this circus who, when it comes time to vote, will say there is no way I want people this deluded running our country.

Between this and the russian probe blowing up in their face, I think ALOT of Americans who were on the fence will vote GOP in the coming weeks.

The dems are hurting women's rights and they care little about it. How is a women to be believed when we can sense this as nothing but an attempt at delaying, ruining and trying to influence the mid terms?

You would think that people would see through this but liberals will always be liberals. What is learned in our schools thanks to liberal leaders does not include what they should know about socialism.

Why do so many people on this site confuse “precedence” and “precedent”? It happens often.

It always seems to be an avid Trump supporter who posts this illiterate nonsense.

Does it not embarrass y’all?

I don't think the Republicans know any way to work other than backwards.

I say nominate Amy Barrett because it’d be weird to see the Dems accuse her of sexual crimes
