Went to Walmart…..

in the field working from early morning to early afternoon. Looking for a bite to take home. I usually get their $4 prepared salads. Well, none are available. The deli manager said that they are short staffed. They had a few employees choose to “enjoy” the stimulus money rather than work and they got fired. There are other examples of local restaurants here and a very nice convenience store chain (OnCue) on which employees have quit for the same reasons.
Stimulus money doesn’t last forever. What makes these nimrods think they can get by? Are they counting on more money from Bidengrad? There are plenty of jobs available locally where good money can be made.
Why do people not want to work and improve their self worth? Where does Biden get the notion that his America is getting back to normal?
For the people who voted for him; why do you have jobs when your fellow Bidener refuses to work?

Stimulus money doesn’t last forever. What makes these nimrods think they can get by? Are they counting on more money from Bidengrad? There are plenty of jobs available locally where good money can be made.

Seems like every Burger King I go into now has the same problem. I was in one last week and they locked the doors and told every customer that walked up that they had to go through the Drive-thru.

I don’t blame the people as much as I blame the govt.

I had to go to Shreveport for an event a few weeks ago. Every place I went out to each, it was a huge wait because the places were short staffed. Plenty of tables, but nobody to serve. They also said that "the kitchen is backed up" at one of the places. This is from not having any workers and we know why.
Funny enough, I haven't run into this problem once in Plano, TX. Not anywhere I've gone.

That makes me happy. Plano and Frisco are happening places always. We usually stay in those areas for OU/Texas weekend.

Went to the YMCA and they have a summer outside mini water park, and most of it’s closed down, because no life guards. They are paying $12 an hour with $200 signing bonus, has had no effect....

Because they know that as soon as the money runs out they can easily go back and get their entry level positions at Wal-Mart, grocery stores, fast food, restaurants...

Work is work. Contribute to society, especially in these times. Start somewhere or just get back to something where you can make money, get benefits, and get that resume flowing.

Now look at per capita stats. That means the use of welfare based on population numbers. Blacks are over 3x more likely to use welfare as whites and almost 2x as likely as hispanics.

An acquaintance of ours quit her job when they got their tax refund last year. It was a couple thousand dollars.

Your stats are outdated. Blacks now use welfare more on both a gross number and a per capita basis. We crossed the tipping point a couple years ago.

Was talking to our postal carrier earlier and she said they are so understaffed that they aren't making people take the exam to get hired.
