More protests will be the next step, but they don't have control.
Can't wait to see this play out.
Best thing is this is all unfolding just before Goodell gets resigned, hopefully he bungles it up for everyone and gets the boot so we all get the NFL back with a legit commissioner.

How do people not see that greater attention and outage has resulted in more of the behaviors causing in the attention and outrage in the first place? Does nobody have or spent any amount of time with children? Children misbehaving for attention, and therefore reinforced by the attention, is something that is very common from a young age.

This is exactly what's going to happen. The NFL could have nipped this right in the bud but instead have created a nightmare that's only growing.
Every single player with ant social or political grievance is now emboldened.
People watch sports for entertainment, not to be preached at or scolded. The NFL allowed their league and brand to be hijacked by political extremists and were too cowardly to stop them.
This isn't a problem that will magically go away. These spoiled children know they can get away with it. It will only get worse.

In my opinion, Trump knows that CNN, NBC. ABC, NYT, Wapo,.,,,,,etc... is going to bash him and try to harm him no matter what he does or says. With these tweets he is going to at least control the narrative that they all bash him about.
