All effective political ads boil down to this.

Both parties and all politicians of all political stripes are adept at it. It's political maneuvering 101.
Edit: and if you want to name names, LBJ and Clinton were pros. Their whole body of work leading up to and as POTUS was blatant pandering. Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton, the charlatans that they are, only wish they were as good as those two.

vote so that a white guy who preys on girls doesn't win...not because you find "preys on girls" to be all that big of a deal, but because "if he was black he wouldn't win" so they vote and he loses then that makes the whole ad a complete farce?
or "we're the party that would vote for a black guy who preys on girls"

how about, and I know this seems radical...if you mention race, just say moore is a racist and jones is not. or don't mention race and just say moore preys on girls and jones does not
