Including Kim Clement (no longer with us) who was very convincing to some.

Deuteronomy 18:21-22
And if thou say in thine heart, How shall we know the word which the LORD hath not spoken? When a prophet speaketh in the name of the LORD, if the thing follow not, nor come to pass, that is the thing which the LORD hath not spoken, but the prophet hath spoken it presumptuously: thou shalt not be afraid of him.

Deuteronomy 18:21-22 ESV

And if you say in your heart, ‘How may we know the word that the LORD has not spoken?’— when a prophet speaks in the name of the LORD, if the word does not come to pass or come true, that is a word that the LORD has not spoken; the prophet has spoken it presumptuously. You need not be afraid of him.

I’m leery of the hyper-charismatic movement.

Just out of curiosity as I’m not totally familiar with Clement, but didn’t he predict a Trump presidency? IIRC, it was quite unique given the timeframe. Not to argue, as I’m not disagreeing with your premise in terms of biblical scripture. I’m just pointing out that he actually did have a prediction fulfilled (I think).

I'm not sure what false prophets you are discussing, by any prophet that claimed Trump would win this election, had accurate information. Trump won the election. Their prophesy just missed that "the election would be stolen".

No , Clement said Trump would be a two term President. Still possible but not likely.

I don't know. But Kim did talk about time when there was 2 Presidents. Biden and Harriss? He also said Trump would reign for two terms but he never said 2 consective terms.

Have a former friend who began going live nightly, telling anyone who would listen that Trump was going to reclaim the Presidency and arrest Biden and his people.

He wound up with over 75,000 people following him and over 6,000 “friends”. As late as Tuesday night he was still telling his “flock” that Biden would not be the next POTUS. It was sad to see the hundreds of comments from people so desperate to hear what they wanted.

I eventually emailed him and told him he was nothing more than a modern day Jim Jones. Instead of physically killing folks, his koolaid was killing them mentally.

Sad.

Well, as it seems to be hit and miss for the 'Prophets', I'm going to go for the pseudo 'prophet' designation and predict the crash and burn of the US Dollar. No specific time; just this feeling coming from...somewhere.

A true prophet can never be wrong. Clement said “two terms”. People thought he was legit because years ago he literally said Trumps name but then said two terms.

Dana Coverstone. He has literally been wrong about everything. And he's still making video's about his latest "dreams". Worst of all there are still people that believe everything he says in the comments.

Deuteronomy 18:21-22
New Living Translation
21 “But you may wonder, ‘How will we know whether or not a prophecy is from the Lord?’ 22 If the prophet speaks in the Lord’s name but his prediction does not happen or come true, you will know that the Lord did not give that message. That prophet has spoken without my authority and need not be feared.
