Goes to show you how easy it is to be lazy, stupid, and poor.

Work harder, poor people.

Liberals hate the rich. Conservatives do something about it.

liberals hate the rich, but do nothing to help the poor pull themselves up

I have no problem with rich people. My problem is with the politicians that sell out to the rich people and establish policies that make the rich richer and the middle class poorer.

There are many poor people in the US who are in an endless cycle of poverty.

But how many of these 3.5b people live in countries that do not allow them an opportunity to improve their life? China, North Korea, Saharan African countries, Alabama?

True but our modern political system and politicians have helped to widen the income gap and shrink the middle class. The rich are getting richer and voting democrat. This is what socialism looks like.

The Federal Reserve is the only thing that is keeping that number and gap from exploding. Inequality is relative and mostly meaningless in reality.

Leftist ideology is all about destruction in the name of creation. They don't actual create or build anything. They simply destroy or take away what others have to level the playing field.

And likely very few of those rich if any actually live in the countries that hold the vast majority of those 3.5 billion. 70% of the world is a complete shithole. The poorest people in the US are wealthier than over half of the worlds population easily

Think it’s called the Pareto distribution that partially explains this phenomenon. It’s naturally occurring in many systems in nature, including and up to the distribution of mass in any given solar system.

It would only have meaning if the supply of money was finite. It is not.

the wealth of the world is not a zero sum game like the left portrays. it is possible for more people to be wealthy if they actually want to be. there's no guarantee, some good fortune is needed at times. but it's certainly NOT the case that these wealthy people are "hoarding" the wealth and others don't have access to it.

don't believe me - check out youtube sometime. people are millionaires for doing some of the dumbest, most inane things you can imagine. HIS NAME WAS LOGAN PAUL

Some would, if given the opportunity for better jobs.

The statement needs to be vote different.
The Dem party needs someone to pander too. If they bring the poor out of poverty they won't have a base. They love to keep them on welfare and thus a life sentence to poverty.

Look no further than monetary policy and regulation.

I.e. government.

Another way to think about it:

85 people have contributed more to the development of the global economy than 3.5 billion people.

some might say it's even brilliant.

1. eliminate middle class
2. keep lower class dependent on govt controlled by the wealthy
3. create new fad every so often that lower class shells out for. repeat cycle
4. profit
