This is always a convenient out to elude answering any question that the Left want to dodge. Problem is, the investigations never end. They usually all drag on so long that people simply forget about them and no one ever gets answers.

I mean, they don't really HAVE to talk about anything. The point here being, there shouldn't necessarily be an 'oh, of course' type reaction every time some government official invokes an "ongoing investigation."
There's no RULE about that. There's no reason the public shouldn't start pushing back and demand a response on things as big as this.
