There’s plenty of time. Hell, even if TRUMP loses they could still fill the seat. Only bad thing is, the Dems would almost for sure do court packing then. But they’re going to anyway if they can no matter what.

Why fill this seat now? Didn't Senate Repubs establish filling a seat so close to an election is not proper? Senator Sasse (R-NE) in an interview this summer said he could not consider approving a USSC justice with an election coming on so soon. And that was last June.

It took Kavanaugh three months, average is about two. Would certainly be close because you know Dems would pull out all the stops.
