So I’m here in the middle of California now and the mask mandates are back… and save for employees almost no one is wearing a mask. Probably seen a grand total of like 10 wearing their masks, and of the employees, many of them (like a 1/3) are simply having the mask under their chin. No one has asked any customer to put on the mask… and this is California (Sacramento specifically). We’re done. August is when everything changes. Makes me very optimistic that we’re done with these Leftist bullies.

I pray you are correct. Lived in Rancho Cordova a million years ago. I wanted to leave because I thought if strange happenings occurred , it would start in CA. (Forgot about Oregon ??)

Is it mandated or recommended? Either way good for all ignoring it.

Yeah if Biden tries some mass lockdown, he is done. Dominion won’t be there to save him. His poll numbers (even the fake ones) would plummet into the 30s and dems will turn on him in mass.

Sister-in-law (no pics) is in SF right now. She said most people in that liberal shite stain of a city aren’t wearing masks, and she hasn’t been asked once to put one on.

Where exactly are these mandates back at?

I was there two weeks ago. A lot of people are still masking up and that was before the mandates. Outdoors I’d say 30%, so I’m sure it’s up to 50% now. But even people there are having enough of it.

That being said SF is nowhere near as bad as Portland or Seattle, which quite frankly look like Dawn of the Dead at this point. As pretentious as SF is, they are at least neighborly. Can’t say that about the other west coast cities.

Sacramento and Yuba Counties, and SF and LA counties as I’m sure you know are as well. I think 9 counties in CA are reimplementing them.

They don’t seem to be enforcing it here either.

I agree.

There is a disconnect between government demands/requests and the people. People, by and large notwithstanding small outliers, have had enough and decided they are going to ignore the “experts” and do what they want.

They have decided they will live their lives.

I really, really....really want to see these fascist bastards that perpetuated these ineffective mandates to be tried and severely punished for harming their constituents.

They are criminal sociopaths.

This is just a trial run for midterms. Mask mandate, lockdown, therefore we must do mail in ballots.

Sacramento specifically

Man while you’re there I highly recommend checking out Phil Cowen on AM 1380. His show runs from 6am to 9am. I was there for work in February and March and got hooked. I still listen on the app and occasionally call in from across the country.

He is extremely anti-mask and skeptical on the vaccines as well and just in general a very conservative dude. His thoughts would fit right in here on the PT. The callers are great as well.

It’s a must-listen for me.
