You ever been to a presidential library? There a big displays of the gifts that a president receives from foreign dignitaries during his term. Presidents are given expensive gifts all the time. They are not kept for personal gain by the POTUS, but accepted respectfully, kept by the state department and put on display for the people. I'm not a fan of Obama, but I'm sure it'll be on display in his library after it's built, hopefully right next to his birth certificate
