I was told this doesn't happen. Debunked. I'm sure this is just anecdotal, or just a joke, right?

Our residents are asked if they’d like to vote when they’re admitted. I can’t tell you what actually happens when it’s time to vote.
That said, I’m always frightened when I hear that question as some (not all) don’t know their name, they year or where they are. And they are able to votenif they wish.
