Vibe of the PT board. Republicans need to become Democrats

Seeing threads stating Republicans should embrace baby killing, election month, and mail in ballots.
What's the point of being a Republican if we are just going to be soft Dems. And why would a liberal/progressive vote for a Republican for semi-Communism when they can get the whole Cpmmunism pie with the Democrats?

a sports analogy would be Bama beating LSU and tiger fans saying they need to start fricking their sister

frick off. I left the GOP on 1/7/21 and will never return. That party has fricked me over numerous times and I owe them nothing.

Republicans need a nice moderate.
Someone like a Paul Ryan or a Mitt Romney that will appeal to more people.
Republicans need to be more moderate, like Democrats are moderate with support for issues like open borders, no cash bail, men in women’s bathrooms, unlimited surveillance, massive spending, censorship, abortion on demand, green energy, and so forth.
It’s not that Democrats are extreme on those issues, it’s that Republicans’ opposition to those issues is extreme.
Right?

Yeah we basically just need to have zero standards. Our standards hinder us. Fetterman - sure!! Dead dude - sure!! Walker - he’s not THE most well-spoken therefore, I’ll pass.

Not just that, more of these "conservatives" want Trump indicted HHTM Style.
It's amazing!

The Republican Party has been an abomination for decades. They were taken over by neocons in the 1970's and became the party of war, mass surveillance and big budgets. Fiscal sanity went the way of the dodo. Hell they're primarily responsible for much of the Deep State we're supposed to be fighting against.

The only thing I want Republicans to do more like the Democrats do is fight and cheat

So I guess Biden has your vote for 2024?

I have the perfect meme template if you’re interested in applying this to it.

Hilarious you think Republicans haven’t gradually been turning into democrats since the boomers took control.

If DeSantis runs, he has my vote. Anyone else and ill consider 3rd party.

quote:Going to have to get with this in states where the govt won't change it. If 1,000,000 Republicans planned to vote on election day and 5% had something come up and couldn't make it, that's 50,000 votes down the crapper.
election month, and mail in ballots

Better embrace the mail in ballots if you ever want to win another race. Ever.
Its obvious they're not going anywhere, so beat them at their own game is the only answer.

W put it on steroids.
Obama said thanks, we’ll take it from here.
Neocons said we’ll come with you.

Problem is mail in ballots don’t help Republicans.
Mail in ballots fixed a problem for Democrats: lazy, unreliable voters. Now Democrats bring the ballots to their voters. And they have a great system to get it down. Problem solved.
Republicans don’t have that problem as Republican voters were already reliable.
In short, mail in ballots capture a vote source that was out there for Democrats. Not Republicans.

abortions have been a thing longer than any of us have been alive. acting like it is something none of us can live with now is childish and stupid. especially when it likely cost republicans several seats from the female vote. It isn't like we are ending abortion worldwide anyway. a person I don't know in California getting an abortion might as well be Pakistan for all I care.

anther dumb take. 30% of all mail in ballots went to republicans in 2020. you really don't think that helped at all? it is millions of votes and there are more out there for republicans to get if they focus on it.

We need more DeSantis, Noem, Lake. That's not in the same universe as a Democrat.
I swear some of you guys are worse than the fricking democrats.
