Vaccine Census at my wife’s company

they are rolling out a mandatory vaccine program at their corporate HQ, get the jabs and be completely vaccinated or submit weekly negative tests effective Nov 1 at the employee’s expense
reporting data was as of Wed, Oct 7
this is a company of 10,000 plus people, prominent brand you see all the time
their high percentage of vaxxed people was corporate at 53%
their lowest was southeast region at 31%
Northeast was 38%
midCon was 35%
West was 40%
they are not mandating vaccines at the regional offices yet
their corporate leadership group was dumbfounded, and completely unprepared for the key employee exodus taking shape
first it will be outright resignations, second are FMLA leaves for 30/60/90 days then not returning if the mandate at corporate is still in effect, third will be contractors refusing to report and taking other postings
it is shaping up to be a shitshow of epic proportions

people like eurocat post their BS polls and data and beat their chests, this a real world example in a real company in 50 states with extensive operations
they thought they would just roll this out and everyone, including contractors would get in line. they are wrong
they didnt break down the numbers by race or ethnicity yet, but she knows the largest holes in compliance are african americans and hispanics just from looking at the raw HR data

My company has similar stats which is why they haven't mandated anything yet

It is a shame that whites are the "compliant" ones. Although in our community I only know of 2 people who got the jab, both in their 80's.

Not quite 3,000 employees but the local hospital, CHS owned, recently did the same and found out almost 1/2 the staff aren't vaxxed. Told them 2x month testing, on the 1st day of testing they had to send almost 1/2 of them home because they tested positive with zero symptoms.

Your wife should organize the creation of a labor union.
The initial demands should be the removal of and vaccine mandate and a 50% increase in compensation across the board among other things (work from home, double holiday time, etc.)
Companies that stick their necks out this much are in a position to really be hurt.

is this a federal company?
if not and the company does roll out the mandate they need to get together and challenge the upper management.
force the management to explain the basis of the decision to each employee and each employee should have a copy of the brandon admin's phony mandate.
people seem to think its a mandate for private companies and its not.
