I didn't hear them once address this. It's almost like they are willfully uninformed.

I don't understand how this wasn't touched. Breyer and Kagan are acting as if vaccination 100% stops transmission.

The justices brought it up so it can be rebutted that parens patriae is not applicable regarding this case since vax status doesn't protect others.

This is good, right?

Now we’re on “Stay” watch…. I’m thinking mid day tomorrow.

Vote tonight and write opinions tomorrow morning.

Do they write opinions for a stay?

Couldn't listen or watch, judging from the comments here it sounds like the State AG's fumbled the ball, should I have any hope this shite gets thrown out?

They both on MANY occasions said that the vaccine is the way to stop this virus. Their approach was that the spread is 100% the people who are unvaxxeds fault. Basically “if everyone would just get vaxxed, there would be no COVID”

The arguments were about who has the power to make such a mandate, not whether the vax actually does anything or not. I expect other cases to be filed on the efficacy of the vax should this go the wrong way.

First plaintiff: got obliterated by Libs and Conservs were timid

Second plaintiff: great job and libs more timid, repubs took over and went in hard

Solicitor: got destroyed throughout

First 30m I thought we were fricked, after the other two were questioned, I’m 60-40 it gets stayed.

He's not wrong. It would be pretty surprising to get a ruling this afternoon.

I don’t see how they wait until Monday if these go in to effect Monday.

Since, Kav and Barrett are practically useless, lets move on to the near future.

Has there been any word on what tests will be acceptable for this bullshite mandate? Will the Walmart Binax tests be acceptable to OSHA or is it at the discretion of the employer?

There will be something over the weekend, probably Sunday if I had to guess.

Kind of a reflection on the president who nominated them.

Why? Because they aren’t bloviating during the arguments?

Correct

They have to decide today.

If this nonsense is set to go into affect Monday, they'll have to address it before it begins. I'd hate to hear one of these clowns argue to remove something that's already in effect.

You’re going to be disappointed if you think they’ll rule today.

Tomorrow evening or Sunday are much more likely.
