The memo, signed by Patrick Penn, Deputy Under Secretary of the Department of Agriculture’s Food, Nutrition, and Consumer Services, warned states that the administration had not cleared full SNAP benefit payments for November.
“To the extent States sent full SNAP payment files for November 2025, this was unauthorized,” according to the memo. State program administrators were directed to distribute 65% partial payments of SNAP benefits for the month instead, the memo said.
States must also “immediately undo any steps taken to issue full SNAP benefits for November 2025,” the memo said. Failure to comply could result in the USDA cancelling the federal share of administration costs or holding states financially liable for “any overissuances that result from the noncompliance.”

Seems like they are just doing what judges are telling them.
So it’s your people doing 180s.

That could be used for previous actions but not this one. No judge ordered this

Dishonest post is dishonest.
RI judge ordered full payment of SNAP from discretionary fund.
Trump admin points out theres not enough money to fully fund and plans to partially fund at 50%, then 65%
Plaintiffs bitch to the judge, who orders 100%.
Trump appeals and requests stay of THAT judgment - still going forward with partial funding.
Judge denies stay
1st Circuit denies stay
SCOTUS grants stay
This is all on the judge.

Meh, states rights. If states want to shore up a loss of federal funding with their own rainy day funds, that's within their rights to do so.

What court ordered the SNAP benefits not be paid?
Posted on 11/9/25 at 1:03 pm to bigjoe1
Too many people on snap/ebt. Time for them to get back to work or live on a budget like the rest of Americans who are doing it the right way.

The Supreme court

No. They just stayed the order that commanded the benefits be paid.
The admin had the option thereafter.
Also I'm pretty sure they could have waited to reverse policy until the stay determination was made, but someone can check me on that.

SCOTUS ordered a stay on the part of the judge's order to pay at 100%.
Your argument sounds strawmanish.

Trump offered partial payment, but these fat fricks started signing lower level judicial orders and sending out emails announcing to people it would be 100 percent payment before SCOTUS could provide definitive guidance.
And here we are...

That's not what happened.
The district court ordered them to be paid fully.
The Supreme Court stayed that ruling. The ruling in no way "blocked" the admin from paying SNAP fully. It became the option of the admin at that point. They are in no way blocked from doing it

Of course not

You know...other than that whole situation where there is not $8 Billion readily available for the admin to legally distribute to cover the full November payment.
Other than that....they are not blocked from doing it.

Why not stop paying other countries and feed our own people. I dont care if they got 30 kids an never had a job. Id rather feed worthless Americans than feed a genocide or a war
