$1.5 million to advance DEI in Serbia's workplaces.
$70,000 for a production of a DEI musical in Ireland.
$47,000 for a transgender opera in Colombia.
$32,000 for a transgender comic book in Peru.
$20 million to create a Sesame Street in Iraq
$2 million for Moroccan pottery classes and promotion
$2 million promoting tourism to Lebanon
More than $9 million of USAID's 'humanitarian aid' intended to feed civilians in Syria ended up in the hands of violent terrorists, including an affiliate of Al Qaeda in Iraq."
As much as $10 million was used by an al Qaeda-linked group for meals.
$78,000 to a non-profit linked to designated terrorist organizations including Pakistan's Falah-e-Insaniat Foundation — even after an inspector general launched an investigation.
$15 million in taxpayer funds to Taliban-controlled Afghanistan to help distribute 'oral contraceptives and condoms.'

As a Christian, this is not what I would choose to help God's children.

China has 1 trillion of our 37 trillion so no that’s not exactly true. American taxpayers has roughly 33 trillion of the debt through the banks so in reality we pay interest now to those banks on loans to ourselves. Kinda worse in reality

John McCain's wife acts like she is feeding the children but won't be able to w/o USAID. I thought the McCain Foundation fed all the starving children and stopped human trafficking?

Yeah, probably the Democrats will die from their anger over cutting the waste from our taxpayer money! We don't have to support the entire planet!

Abortions will cause a lot more death than the DOGE cuts. They don't seem bothered by those deaths.

As a Christian, I hate to see this. We are all God's children and it doesn't cost the US much to make the world a better place. How shameful.

1) The US Fed Gov't is NOT the church.
2) The church is not obligated anywhere in scripture to feed and support the population of the world with anything other than the gospel.
3) The church IS obligated to take care of those of its membership who are fatherless and those who are "widows indeed" (widows who have no relatives to provide for them).
4) It is our duty as individual Christians to help those around us who are in need. (Are you fulfilling this obligation, or are you relying on the government to do your Christian work for you?)

Why is no one reporting the reduced carbon footprint brought about by 14 million less earth-killing humans on the planet?

There are over 170 other countries in the world who don't care about this either.

a small fraction of my tax dollars to go towards helping people around the world

Tax money is taken at the barrel of a gun. No use of it, good or bad, has anything to do with Christianity of charity.

Every dollar spent has a political purpose. Even feeding hungry children is done to benefit one political faction in that country, or harm another.

You say it “doesn’t cost much” so how much is too much?

You apparently have a limit. What is it?

I would be in favor of replacing the money we send with food. We can stop wasting corn for fuel and send that corn to the starving people of the world.

I would think a lot of Americans would be ok with sending food to places in need if that food actually made it to the people. But NGO's and corrupt governments often take the food and either sell it to people of just dont let certain people have it.

And money should never be sent. Food only.
