I was told USAID wasn’t about saving lives anyways. It was an instrument of soft power to gain influence over other countries.

Those Nongovernmental organizations were headed by relatives of US workers and those heading the organization were paid 5-6 times the average US worker, many making 300,000+ a year with no accountability.

If $61 Billion saved 14 million lives then why not $122 Billion to save 28, why not $183 Billion to save 42 million!

Your position requires a reality where all the USAID money was actually being used for the causes they claimed to fund. That reality doesn’t exist.
This study has to assume that fairy tale to hold water. Every claim in the study is an abstract hypothetical.
