Let’s not forget the lunacy that this requirement is to “stop the spread” where we KNOW BEYOND A SHADOW OF A DOUBT THAT THE CURRENT VACCINES DO VERY LITTLE IF ANYTHING TO STOP THE SPREAD OF THE CURRENT VERSION OF COVID!

So is this a requirement in place or did they make it up? And I’ve got a passport but not a visa. Why can’t he come in with a passport? Do all foreigners coming in need a shot??

No. No, they do not.
But that isn’t relevant to my post, which was a direct response to another poster asking why he couldn’t get in with a passport. If he had a US passport he wouldn’t be having issues—hence my question.

Well passports and visas are different. Or at least I think.
Like I would just need a passport to go to the Uk. I would need a visa to work there.
Living in Baton Rouge I would meet young people here in J1 visas. They had passports but the visas were for them to work for a few months over the summer.
