Very true... there is some serious sexual deviance in that place... If they voted against it, got to be a lot more than the homosexual angle...

Um, I know you think you "got me". None of what you posted does ANYTHING to mitigate what this administration has done. They think it perfectly fine that homosexuals are killed if they are caught having same sex relations. And no I don't think Trump hates figs per se. I know many in his administration do, including his vice president. I don't think Trump really cares. He obviously is ok with me begin murdered because I'm gay though. He made that perfectly clear by aligning with Muslim shitholes to oppose this.

Are you lying or just stupid? Believing other countries shouldn't tell a country what laws to have is NOT the same as agreeing with the laws in that country Toddy.

Give me one reasonable reason why they would vote against this and align themselves with some Muslim shitholes and china.

I'll give you one. How about the fact that regardless of what Trump does, you and the rest of the socialist democrats are going to be out there labeling Trump, and anyone not all in on the resistance, everything from a bigot to a Nazi and worse. When you sow the wind, you reap the whirlwind.

Why are you bitching when it's your side who've made it crystal clear that Trump is a monster whose every opinion and utterance must be opposed, destroyed, distorted, undermined, attacked and defeated? You folks have given the man not a single reason to give a flying frick about anything you think, want, oppose, or support.

Sorry but the UN has no right to tell any country how to rule itself.

Sounds like trump stuck to his national sovereignty stance on this and good for him.

Maybe you can convince your dumb liberal friends that perhaps they should not bend over backwards, or forwards, to defend the savages all the time.

Just once, I would like to see someone own up to starting a Thread of Idiocy instead of just abandoning it and hoping it goes away.

one reasonable explanation for voting against this

Didn't Trump speak before the UN saying he plans to keep America first and other countries should do the same? Seems to me that voting against this resolution allows for other countries to keep their country and their culture first.

Also, I'm sure he didn't vote TO impose the death penalty for consensual homosexual sex. Merely opted not to interfere in other countries and their laws.

I think you misunderstood what was actually done. Nowhere have I seen where Trump is ok if homosexuals are killed. At least not in this country. I would say, as a general rule, anytime you travel to a foreign land you should understand and abide by their rules. If not, you are likely to face their punishment. You know, sovereign nations and all.

Iran, Saudi Arabia, Mauritania and Sudan are among the handful of countries in which consensual same-sex sexual activity remains punishable by death.

As long as the homosexual activity isn't performed in Iran, Saudi Arabia, Mauritania and Sudan you should be ok.

So the US can ban other countries from enforcing their own laws while we refuse to enforce our own?

Good to know.
