US Embassy in Moscow apparently celebrated Juneteenth too.

Sorry… we cannot connect your call.. please try again later.
Sorry but

Despite being detained in Russia for four months now, WNBA star Brittney Griner was given a glimmer of hope when she was allowed to speak to her wife, Cherelle, via phone on their fourth anniversary on Saturday. Arrangements had been made a couple of weeks prior for the couple to speak on the phone for the first time since Griner was arrested. Heartbreakingly, the call never went through.
According to a report by the Associated Press, the problem lies with the United States embassy in Moscow, Russia. Apparently, there wasn’t anyone available in the embassy on Saturday to patch the phone call through. Griner reportedly attempted to call no less than 11 times only for them to be unanswered each time.
Sorry but

If the WNBA fans turn on Biden he could lose dozens of votes.

Maybe they wouldn't accept the call from a correctional facility.

WAIT - are any of those of darker skin tone??
if so, that would be quite a conundrum - make someone forsake the Junteenth celebration ?? or forsake a LBQWERTY in distress.

Whoa back up.
First, why are taxpayers paying to facilitate a known felon making long distance calls on our dime.
Second, the policy, no doubt put in place by a democratic bureaucrat, is to facilitate criminal's phone calls Monday to Friday. As such, perhaps she should have called a day in advance given she is a felon. Instead the whole fking world has to revolve around her?
