Why have an embassy there at all?

Close it up and fire everyone there.

We have been send ships to the Black Sea this week for “operations.”

What some friends’ kids who are in the Navy have stated.

I sure hope not. Any of our ships there are sitting ducks. We have the Truman CSG off the coast of Albania right now. My granddaughter is on that ship and it's worrying me sick.

The end of NATO is taking place before our eyes. Germany effectively told the Biden Admin to frick off today and they are not allowing any weapons to travel through their country to the Ukraine and it just prohibited any NATO partners from supplying its weapons to the Ukraine. Germany is also nixed the possibility of adding Georgia Bulgaria, Romania, and Estonia in as NATO partners. Germany is so dependent on Russia that we may be seeing a new shift towards a realignment in the world order thanks to Biden.

We are now officially see why Germany has refused to contribute to NATO. They are and have been in bed with the Russians. Trump exposed it and Biden has now encouraged it.

The bigger issue is that Russia has the US by the short and curlies because under Biden we are now importing almost 540,000 barrels of oil a day in from Russia. Putin could cut off our oil supply and it would really screw the US.

Generals gathered in their masses
Just like witches at black masses
Evil minds that plot destruction
Sorcerer of death's construction

In the fields, the bodies burning
As the war machine keeps turning

Yep. Blinken met with German Foreign Minister yesterday and failed to even bring up the fact that Europe's largest economy fails to pay their NATO obligations.

The world sees our leaders and knows that we are weak.

There is truth in what you say. Seems that the Russians are "holding" the cards here. Gasoline rationing just might be in our future in addition to prices we have yet to experience as well as price hikes and shortages across the board.

All of them are already members of NATO except for Georgia.

Do you know what percentage of our daily usage this piddling amount is. You realize it travels by tanker, not a fixed pipeline, and is a worldwide commodity. The reason we buy that from Russia is pricing, tomorrow we could buy the same amount on the world market somewhere else.

Germany however, is heavily reliant on gas from a fixed pipeline which Russia controls. We have dozens of tankers of lng ready to offload in Eruope, unfortunately, since they did not take Trumps advice, they have very little degassing capacity and its the proverbial "trying to shove an elephant through a mousehole" at this point.

So yes Im certain Russia is having a few sidebar conversations with Germany and hence their reluctance to carry out any threats NATO may make.

The US needs to back off this shat. We do not have a dog in this fight. Ukraine is not NATO and even if it was a NATO country, we should only support the countries who have been paying their 2% of GDP and germany is not one of them.

Europe is about to find out defense spending is like a parachute, it may be expensive and not needed, but if it is needed and you dont have it, there will be no need to buy one after the fact. Perhaps they can send some social workers to negotiate.
