US as is won’t be around in 100 years.

There’s going to be a fragmentation be it violent or not.
Rampant immigration, hardline politics, failure/manipulation of the education system, middle class blue collar jobs shrinking, and a growing sense of entitlement are too many major problems to fix.
We had some great men make the best form of government in history but idk of any government that could handle this diversity in a large population.

100? You're quite the optimist.

Our values are too far apart. Unless the left comes back there's no way we stay a complete country.
Dunno if that's 10, or 100 years, but I do think you're right.

AOC said we’re done by 2031 so no worries on that front. She’s the foremost intellect with the “party of science” and has like 13 masters degrees in everything from mixing Jager Bombs to Twitter burns. It’s hard to doubt someone with her impressive record.

Multi-ethnic societies don't work.

I bet you're fun at parties.
....it had to be done.
Really though, hold off on that final assessment until 2025 at the latest. Unless Trump finagles himself into a President For Life gig.
I do think that 2025 at latest the pendulum will swing back towards the "middle". A key component to the war against Trump is the left fomenting discord amongst the peoples, desiring that we be at each others' throats. Simply in hopes that a significant amount of people give up and go against, just to make it stop. Bad strategy by the way.....we're quite stubborn. So one way or the other, once Trump is no longer a factor, the above strategy goes away.

I hope so. The country needs to break up. It's too big. I have nothing in common with a New Yorker or Portlander outside of language. And they only use THAT to tell me how they're going to destroy me and my children.

The Majority of citizens in the US are law abiding and are willing to allow this shite to happen out of personal fear, protection of family, job, lifestyle, etc.
This will end up like the frog in the hot water. If you put it in cool water and slowly turn the temperature up the front will allow itself to be cooked.
Law abiding citizen think everything can be solved at the ballot box and being good law abiding citizens. I wish it were that way.
When the average citizen says no may and organizes, their numbers would vastly outnumber the rioters.

If the media honestly reported the news, not opinions, this could be avoided. The one sided reporting of black deaths at the hands of whites and police had brought us to this point. The white man bad narrative.

I'm telling my kids they need to move to Australia after college. This country will be on par with Spain in a 100 years.

My estimate is the inflection point will probably be around the 2032 election. When due to unfettered immigration, the current demographic changes make Texas and Georgia and likely Arizona permanently Blue
No more Gop potus. Leftists control both houses forever.
That is when they start making changes to the constitution,
THAT is when the beginning of the end starts.

Too many thugs, white guilt trash, leftist scum and other vermin around. Many sections.of this country are already doomed, if the demographics of your state is changing its just a matter of time for that area also.

But yeah, those are rational comments for sure. I do think though that it will be very interesting the mood and tone that shakes out once Trump's out of office. Clearly there's been an unprecedented hysteria with Trump as the source, and it's a certainty that that source of historic agony and derangement will no longer be in effect at some point. There will be a noticeable change, but agreed, the larger issues that go beyond a single Presidency, or two or three Presidencies will continue to decay.

What do you mean? Do you disagree with the demographic change comments?
Or do you disagree that the Dems will start making changes to the constitution the next time they get a supermajority?

I didn't intend to signal disagreement with any of it, but will revise to disagree somewhat with the Constitutional Amendment aspect. I believe that process isn't exclusively within purview of Congress and/or President. Each state legislature must ratify a federal constitutional amendment, if I recall correctly.

A lot of that momentum could be slowed with the break-up of leftist-dominated education, pop culture (movie, music industry, celebrity worship) and political news media.
Too many common folk have a fundamental misunderstanding of this country's purpose, of conservatism, and human history. That's largely attributable to my first paragraph.

A little bit of authoritarian government and allowing people to go through suffering is what is needed. It will not happen and we will crumble financially, socially and finally militarily.

Is this the thread where we assume all minorites will vote in lock step with Democrats as their freedoms and wealth get extracted from them? LOL
