My son has been seeking internships while in college.
It is astonishing the number of internships available to minorities only.
If he were a minority, with his grades and leadership positions, he would be able to score just about any internship he wanted.
While he has been successful at finding positions, it has been eye opening how eliminating candidates based on skin color is the norm.

There is not a single scholarship out there for white males.
There are for just being black or just being a female.

That's why all of my doctors are white or Asian. I can be confident they didn't get into med school through aff action policies.

From what I have seen people who get admitted to gifted programs who are admitted based more on skin color than merit, don't do very well. It's must be painful to be the dumbest kid in a class who can't keep up.
Clarence Thomas was the smartest kid in his class in reality and he hates the presumption of "affirmative action" stigma that is attached to his skin color.
