I swear we need an airline passengers bill of rights - and that would include seating space and legroom.

It's called a boycott. Choose another airline, they're not all as tone deaf as United

What he said isn't untrue at all. You have the option to choose between legroom and no legroom, and most travelers choose to save the $15.

ETA - It's pretty clear that Roger is the only one that actually read the piece.

It's your fault if you choose to not pay for more leg room, yes.

Why should I pay more when I don't need the extra space?

That would be one of those burdensome government regulations that people here complain about.

Pay for a better seat ignore you like. Or don't demand a low price ticket

More leg room = less seats = higher ticket prices

Yeah, it's their own fault for flying United. Munoz is a moron.

Why? People don't pay the same price today. You should pay whatever you think is fair. If you want more legroom and they offer it at an additional price, go for it.

He has a MBA from Pepperdine. I hate to defend Munoz, because I'm not a huge fan. But he is educated and the CEO of a pretty big company. You calling him a moron doesn't exactly fit. There are lots of hard core leftists I disagree with that are very smart. Having a difference of opinion doesn't make one a moron. Calling someone more educated and successful than you a moron based on disagreements...well...

THey all are as tone deaf as United with maybe the exception of Virgin Atlantic, which has a very small radius of flying.

Eyeryone is lowest common denominator these days.

He's a moron because of how he has handled the situation that happened last month. I wasn't saying he's uneducated. He just says things that aren't very smart for a CEO to say. United has lost millions in stock value because of him.
