I'd rather not work that much of my time. The benefits of automation should be shared with society by having a shorter work week.

That's, why you have to find something that you love doing. Find a way to make a living at it, and you never have to go to work.
It takes focus and some sacrifice, but anybody can get there, if they set their mind to it and don't shoot themselves in the foot. First thing: don't spend your money on dumb shite, that you don't really need.

He's not even married yet. Probably has a big truck/car payment/ insurance, all the latest electronic gadgets/phone/internet/cable bills and wonders where his money goes.
The answer isn't to work more, but to spend less, and save your money, or spend on things that will retain value and maybe even appreciate.

Do you believe only big business has lobbyists? Labor unions have lobbyist, as do environmental groups, trade associations, teachers, government workers and just about any sub group you can think of. Hell, even illegal aliens have lobbyists. It is not at all a one sided deal.
