Read those tweets and it's clear that progs want to gut the 1st Amendment. Speech isn't violence and who gets to determine what's hate speech? If it's people like Omar and Pelosi, that net will be anything that offends them, which is just about everything.

To me, a death threat is calling her office and saying over the phone in going to kill you. It's mailing a letter saying I'm going to kill you.

Her trivialization of the worst terrorist act our country has ever seen caused her death threats. Many people were offended and pissed of because of 9-11. Most still are.

A death threat is now an unprovable allegation that follows any statement made by a political enemy, so you can try and link the two and thus attempt to censor any future statement deemed heretical to your orthodoxy. This should frighten us all to our core. Trump posted Omar's actual words. The left is more dangerous to free speech than the Moral Majority ever was.
