I truly need for you to explain to me how it is that you have surrounded yourself for the past 30+ years with people that you TRULY feel are racist, sexist, homophobic, Xenophobic misogynistic, Islamaphobic, etc. For the love of Pete, if we are all disgusting pieces of shite how can you even stand in our weddings, attend our parents' funerals, sleep in our houses, ride in our cars, and hug and kiss us and our children? All the while knowing how very much we LOVE you. And our children LOVE you. And our families LOVE you. All of that love doesn't fit with the "Trump breeds hate" narrative, now does it? We have stood beside you through thick and thin because we love you. I've seen a few people post snippy responses to your posts, but I for one am heartbroken that you think that I, along with all of our friends, are such despicable human beings. And only because Hillary Clinton told you so.

The response to this was *crickets*.

Great response. It required only one revision.

It truly is amazing what the left has done to divide this country in just a short amount of time, isn't it?

Now they are taking it out with violent acts.

Hope, Change and Unity....my arse.

That was truly awesome and probably the most effective way to deal with an individual who has temporarily lost sight of what is real.

Now THAT was brilliant - I recognize brilliance in logic and prose - and that, my friends, is brilliant

The person said that everyone who voted for Trump was a racist bigot.

This wasn't the only challenge to that statement. It was by far the best.

Well played sir. And so full of truth, how would he even rebut without sounding like a truly awful person? Well done.

That's one of those ones where everybody wants to upvote you and say "attaboy" but they probably have to be a bit restrained so as to not appear to be piling on.

Recently found out one of my old HS teachers is a big lefty. Believe me, this one was a surprise.

Anyway, she posted something along the lines of "how can anyone be so heartless, racist and sexist to vote for Trump". I so badly wanted to reply "well, you taught us, so help explain it to us".

I don't think all Trump voters are racists - they are just tolerant of racists. This forum is a pretty clear indication of that fact. If you need proof, see the thread about conservatives moving to the cities.

bullshite. Acknowledging their existence does not equal tolerance. This is why your party is in deep, deep shite.

Not a Trump voter, but I will happily put myself in this category.

Primarily b/c their are sooooo many more important, pressing issues in front of us.

It's not worth mine/our time to attempt to convert someones personal ideology when real problems actually exist. Particularly when the attempt to convert a personal ideology is so singularly aimed at one demographic.

So when the question is "will you tolerate some bigotry from Trump?"

Well, if my alternative is "tolerating unchecked immigration", "tolerating tax and spend tax policy", "Tolerating BLM", "Tolerating federal government overreach", "tolerating a declining middle class". Yes, I am happy to tolerate a bit of ignorance in return.

It's a byproduct of this shitty two party system. Tolerating things you normally would not in order to avoid others.

I have truly come to believe that the hatred that they attribute to others could only be described in such detail because they own it.

I've got a response for you. You supported the KKK's candidate. If you are ok with that then you ARE A racist and a bigot.

You may think you are not a bigot/racist/misogynist, etc. and you very well may not act like one in your day to day public persona - but make no mistake you helped elect a president who champions these qualities.

Only bc Hillary told you so? C'mon man. You are conveniently forgetting about all of the hateful rhetoric Trump has spewed throughout the election.

"Grab her by her pussy." You have no problem with that? Well how about i grab your wife by her pussy? Or your daughter? How would you like it then?

The only possible explanation is because you agree with it and you ARE a racist and a bigot.

I don't hear any of you denouncing racism, hatred or bigotry. I hear you all embracing it, flaunting it and rubbing it in people's faces.
